Away fans are housed in the covered Lookers Stand (formerly the Cricket Field Stand named because there is a cricket field behind it) at one end of the ground. This stand accommodates 4,125 supporters. Burnley are generally a well supported club and there is normally a good atmosphere, however this can sometimes become quite intimidating for the away supporter making your way around the ground.

HOW TO GET THERE BY CAR
Leave the M6 at Junction 29 and onto the M65. Leave the M65 at Junction 10 and follow signs for Towneley Hall. This road eventually goes past the ground.
PARKING: The official away parking is a pay and display car park on Centenary Way, next to the Bus Station. It is quite a big car park but spaces do go fast. There is limited parking on Ormerod Road, this is about a minute drive up the road in the opposite direction of the ground, next to the Fire Station. When you reach the Fire Station on the right hand side, turn right immediately after it. This is where the oppositions fans park the coaches, so if you get there early then you may get a spot. If you can't get a spot in either of these places then you could always park on one of the surrounding streets. But if you do this then I would recommend that you remove ALL hanging strips, scarves and any other club slogans/colours that you may have in your car.
The cricket club has good safe parking off Belvedere Road.
Otherwise street parking.
From Manchester International Airport take the M66
BY TRAIN
All tickets through Chris and Gildo have now gone.
The trains leave Kings Cross at 8.10 and 9.10 – arriving in Leeds at 10.30 & 11.30. You will need to buy a ticket from Leeds to Burnley Manchester Road – make sure it’s via Halifax.
The return train leaves Burnley Manchester Road at 5.56pm via Leeds, arriving back in Kings Cross at 10.47pm.
From the Station:
The ground is walkable from the train station, which is about 20 minute walk away. As you enter Burnley by train ignore the minor station of Burnley Barracks and alight at Burnley Central. Walk out of the station and cross the road towards a small retail area including Fads and Halfords Cycles. Beyond that you will hit an inner ring road/dual carriageway. Turn left. Don't go straight on as it takes you into the town centre from where the majority of Burnley fans will make their way to the game. You need to cross to the opposite side of the dual carriageway. After about 200yds turn right into School Lane. (If you miss School Lane, you will eventually come to a set of traffic lights, at which you turn right into Church St). After about 150yds you will come to Church St. Briefly turn right and immediately left into Ormerod Rd, look for the Public House "The Talbot" on the corner. Go up Ormerod Rd for some 400yds to the junction at the top. Turn right onto Belverdere Rd (you should see the fire station opposite) walk for about 300yds and you will see Turf Moor appear on your left, the visitors entrances are well sign posted and you will see that the vast majority of away fans coaches park near to the fire station. This is the recommended Police route and avoids the town centre.
If you are coming from Burnley Manchester Road turn right out of station onto Halstead Street to main road crossing the main road towards the cinema and turn left onto centenary way turn right at the roundabout under the canal bridge into Yorkshire Street. Continue on this road till you reach the away end of Turf Moor.
BY BUS
Buses 4 and 7, 589 and 592 go to the ground from Burnley Manchester Road Station.
PUBS
Pubs close to Turf Moor are not recommended for away supporters. While some have doubtless had a good time here in the past, there is a Burnley hooligan element, and consequently, there’s a risk. It isn’t recommended to wear away colours, although those without colours may also be looked on with suspicion, as most Clarets like to wear their Burnley shirts.
The best bet is the clubhouse at the cricket club (you can also park there) which is open on matchdays and visitors are always made welcome (wearing colours is not a problem), which is ideal as it is right next door to the ground – we went there before the league match the season before last and it was all fine. Also has parking and food.
The Turf Hotel on Yorkshire Street is best avoided and well as pubs in the town centre (where colours are best covered up)
Some Burnley fans down for one of games a couple of seasons back suggested the Working Mens' Club The Plum Street Miners - on Plum Street as the best place to drink (most pubs are a bit dodgy for away fans, apparently). 20p to get in, and £1.40 a pint, never any trouble.
110 Club on Yorkshire Street near the ground. This private club allows away supporters in for a nominal admission fee (20p). The club serves good reasonably priced food and children are also welcomed. They also offer a 'Claret & Blue' bitter
at only £1.20 per pint.
Another place is the QueenVictoria Public House. The away fans are always directed/encouraged to park in one location, by the side of the Burnley fire station, if you go pass there, away from the football ground and proceed for about 100 yards you will find the entrance to the Queen Victoria (Brewers Fayre establishment). The ground is no more than 10 mins walk away. Away fans visit regularly wearing their colours'.
En route from Burnley Manchester Road station is the Inn on the Wharf at Weavers Triangle small groups of discreet away fans might get a drink in here
If you are coming by car another alternative is to come via the M62, Follow the signs for Bury (M66) Then Follow signs for Rawtenstall. At the big Round-About in Rawtenstall follow the Burnley Sign. About one and a half miles you come to Crawshawbooth (Can't remember if there's a sign) Pub on Left called the White
Bull. Owned by a private brewery from Cheshire. (They only have 5 pubs) Great range of prize winning beers. Interestingly, the top floor of the pub is a top curry house. May be a few friendly Clarets in. You are only 20 minutes from the ground.
The Sparrow Hawk Corner of Church Street and Ormerod Road, next to the Talbot A door policy applies for high profile games, but for routine matches away supporters should be ok

Inside the ground beer and lager is on sale for 1.90 a pint - but the lager is fizzy according to the football fans guide!
