Away fans are housed in part of the Gillingham End open uncovered terrace, where between 900 and 1,800 supporters can be accommodated. This end is shared with the home supporters having a fence and some netting separating the two.
. it is worth bearing in mind that a certain section of Gillingham supporters are quite passionate about their club, so use your discretion around the ground. The entrance to the terrace is quite unusual as you go down a small road with terraced housing on either side to reach it and as the terraced houses are taller than the away terrace you don't really see it until the last moment. The view of the playing action is quite poor. Basically you can't see one corner of the pitch and part of one goal. There is one portakabin toilet at the rear of the terrace.

FACILITIES FOR DISABLED PEOPLE
There are 5 spaces for disabled supporters in the Gordon Road Stand. Tickets free for disabled person, matchday prices for helper. Booking requires 24 hours notice. For more details, please contact the club by ringing 01634 300 000. Parking is available. For blind facilities please contact Gillingham.

COACHES:
Depart Selhurst at 10.45am. Gold members 10.40, season ticket holders/members 11.70 and guests 13.00.

HOW TO GET THERE BY CAR & WHERE TO PARK

Leave the M2 at Junction 4 and take the A278 towards Gillingham, going straight across two roundabouts. At the 3rd roundabout turn left onto the A2 towards Gillingham town centre. At the junction with the A231, turn right (into Nelson Road) and after the bus station take a right turn into Gillingham Road, the ground is down on your right. Street Parking. It is suggested arriving at least one hour before kick-off as car parking is extremely limited (although one website states there is a Car park for 1,100 cars) and, be warned, there can be some delay after games as the traffic takes time to disperse. You may find spaces off Woodlands Road, or on Chicago Avenue, Livingstone Road & Sturdee Avenue. The public car park on Railway Street behind the station is only a 5-10 minute walk from the ground. To avoid some of the post-match gridlock, home fans advise visitors to park facing the way home, as turning round can take hours!

It is about 45 minutes drive from the centre of London and London Gatwick Airport. Birmingham is less than 2.5 hours away

BY TRAIN

Regular train services run from London Victoria and Charing Cross. The ground is walkable from the railway station (about a 1/4 of a mile).

Please note: Anyone wishing to travel to Gillingham on Sunday by train BEWARE Bromley South Station is CLOSED throughout the Bank Holiday, Trains to Gillingham will stop at Chislehurst and are also calling at Grove Park.

Turn left out of the station and follow the road until you come to a crossroads. Go straight on into Priestfield Road. Ignore the sign that says "No Access To Football Ground" if it is still there because Priestfield Road is the only access to the ground for visiting supporters. The visitors turnstiles are at the far end of Priestfield Road. Allow ten minutes to get from the station and into the ground'.

Alternatively from Gillingham Rail Station, take a left and then left again onto Balmoral Road. Turn left onto Gillingham Road and then the next right into Linden Road. Turn right at the T-junction into Redfern Avenue - this will lead you to the away turnstiles.

To get to the home areas, turn right at the crossroads and then first left into Gordon Road for the Gillingham End Terrace home area, the Gordon Road Stand and the Rainham End. For the Medway Stand or an alternative route to the Rainham End, turn left at the crossroads and then first right. At the far end the road turns right and then left.

BY OFFICIAL COACH
If you arrive by official coach the Police will escort the coach to a bus park which is again a ten minute walk from the ground. To get to the ground, walk out of the parking area to the main road, turn left and follow this road until you come to Gillingham Road, turn right into Gillingham Road and follow this until you come to the crossroads - Priestfield Road is on the left

BY BUS:
Bus numbers 101, 132, 136, 182 and 183 go from Chatham bus station

PUBS & FOOD
According to the Internet Football Fans guide - Livingstone Arms on Gillingham Road
is known as an "Away Supporters" pub and is situated approximately 100 yards from the away turnstiles. The atmosphere within the pub is both warm and friendly and there is even complimentary bar food laid on for fans. Otherwise you can purchase a hot pie with your pint, or visit the local chip shop, situated across the road.

The ground is walkable from the town centre, where there are a fair few pubs to be found.
However most pubs in Gillingham are reputed to be “the pits”, & away fans should avoid the Cricketers in Sturdee Avenue

The Roseneath in Arden Street is an excellent real ale pub & usually does huge doorstop sandwiches at lunchtime for £1.
Anybody who wants to carry on after the game it is suggested they drive 10 minutes to Rochester High Street where there are a number of restaurants and pubs (recommended is the taste of two cities Indian)
Also a night club.
Best pint of Guinness anywhere outside Ireland is at The Prince of Wales
(P.O.W.) Strood

Southern Belle opposite the railway station - 170 Gillingham High Street, which also has a cafe located next door is a small friendly pub - landlord is happy for fans to bring in takeaway food.

The Ship public house on the Lower Rainham Road

Dog & Bone - Jeffrey Street. Newly re-furbished pub with restaurant.

The Napier Arms - 153 Britton Street. Cosy pub also has a larger games room. Families welcome.

The Falcon - 95 Marlborough Road.

Will Adams – town centre – does good cheap food, landlord is a Gills fan

United services - 27 Arden Street

Gillingham High Street near the station has several outlets - bakeries, cafe, Mcdonalds, Wimpy etc.

Food inside the ground - burgers, hotdogs - very little fare for vegetarians.
