Bolton v Palace - Sat 16th October

Bolton Wanderers v Crystal Palace
October 16th 2004 KO 3pm

Tickets are no longer available through palace box office but 900 will be available on the day.

Bolton Wanderers
Ground Name: Reebok Stadium
Capacity: 28,723 (all seated)
Address: Burnden Way, Lostock, Bolton, Lancashire, BL6 6JW
Tel: 01204-673673
Ticket office – 0871 871 2932

Away fans are housed in the South Stand at one end of the ground where up to 5,000 fans can be accommodated - however most clubs are usually just allocated 3,000. The lower tier is shared with home supporters, but the upper tier is entirely away fans. Beware the front few rows of the lower tier are not covered by the roof so you might get wet! Stewarding can be a bit OTT!

DIRECTIONS & CAR PARKING
M6 to Junction 21a, take eastbound M62 leaving at Junction 12. Follow signs for M61 (Bolton/Preston) and leave the motorway at Junction 6. The ground is visible from this junction and is clearly sign posted. Take exit from sliproad roundabout onto the A6027 Mansell Way. At the next roundabout go straight on and take slip road on the left onto Stadium Visitor's car park 'A'.

Don’t take the A666 towards Bolton from the M61

With traffic congestion on the M60 (M62) supporters from south might want to follow directions for north - which although 10 miles longer may save time.

From the north - take the M6 to junction 29, take M65 towards Blackburn - leave at junction 2 - M61 to Manchester - leave at junction 6 - ground is signposted from here – take first exit off the roundabout onto A6027 Mansell Way – at next roundabout approx 300 metres, take a left onto Burden Way & towards car park.

There is a car park at the ground but it costs £5 & often packed in. Car park A is for visitors. Another tip is to park at the Beehive pub – on the roundabout (half a mile past stadium coming from motorway – pay £5 per car but get it back at the bar. Leave the M61 at junction 6 & drive towards the stadium, continue past & the pub is on the next roundabout near Chorley New Road.

FROM THE STATION
Horwich Parkway railway station serves the stadium and is less than 5 minutes walk from the ground, with regular trains from Bolton's main station.

Note - Bolton station is 5 miles from the Reebok Stadium

Coaches:
There are no seats left on the coaches.

Buses
Bus information can be found at http://www.bwfc.premiumtv.co.uk/pag...0,,1004,00.html

DRINKING

Bromilow Arms - from the M61 go past ground, right into Lostock Lane - pub is 500yards on left - friendly atmosphere - parking for 2.50 about 5 mins walk from ground. This is 10 mins walk away from the ground. Good mix of home & away fans. Serves real ale & food from a lunchtime snack menu

'Although the local pubs do indicate 'Home Only', as long as you don't have away team colours on, you should not have any problems. Try the "Middlebrook Tavern" on the Middlebrook Retail Park (Reebok Stadium is on the Middlebrook Retail estate), Old Orleans or even the micro brewery at the ten pin bowling alley.

There is also the Beehive pub near the ground where you can also park your car.

There are a number of country-style, family friendly pubs along the A6, which runs parallel to the M61. To reach the A6, exit the A61 at junction 4. At roundabout turn left. Next roundabout turn right onto A6. Quincey’s American Diner near junction 6 is good for families

Alcohol is served within the ground.
